Oldcroghan Man was murdered between 362-175 B.C., and thrown into a bog. His decapitated, legless body was discovered in 2003, and now rests in a glass case in the National Museum of Ireland, Dublin.

What a cool exhibit, although this portion of the bog man is a bit ghoulish to the eye. But very SOOC!

ReplyDeleteI think the energy of that picture can still evoke emotions with us! I felt something which i can't describe, and when i saw Gemma's comment, that was it, disturbing and also scary. I wonder why it is not decomposed!
