Straight Out of the Wheeling Past



Part of the community of Hastings on parade in the annual Westernport Festival on the Mornington Peninsula  last weekend.
"Community heroes" was the theme of the parade this year.

    The past is certainly present here - two distinct eras from horse drawn carriage to horseless carriage is so evident. We need not dwell in the past, instead admiring the changes through history...

    I notice that this 1956 Ford is American as the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car...perhaps like in the US still drive on the wrong side of the road :)
